Business & Financial Services

Business and Financial Services supports our children by providing accounting and financial support to school sites, departments, and programs within the Konocti Unified School District.

Financial support includes, but is not limited to:

• budgeting
• accounting
• grant reporting
• program compliance
• development of the annual budget for all programs
• revisions and required financial reports

Accounting activities include:

• payroll and benefits
• accounts receivable and payable
• invoicing
• check processing
• purchase requisitions
• financial statements

Business and Financial Services is responsible for ensuring that the District is in compliance with all State and Federal laws and regulations regarding financial accountability and reporting.

Annual budgets and programs are developed through the lens of “Focus on the Classroom” as the priority in order to best meet the needs of our students and their instructors.

The following provides developers with information on the School Developer Fees collected by Konocti Unified School District. Further details can be obtained by calling the KUSD Business Office at 707-994-6475

Effective July 11th, 2022 the developer fee rates are as follows:

$4.79 per sq. ft. for residential construction
$0.78 per sq. ft. for commercial or industrial construction

When and Where are fees paid?

Fees are assessed and paid at the Business Office of the Konocti Unified School District Building, located at 9430 B Lake Street, Lower Lake, Ca 95457. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. Please be prepared to provide formal documentation.

Checks or Money Orders should be made payable to Konocti Unified School District.
