About Alternative Education
Alt Ed encompasses 4 schools - Carle High School Continuation High School (serving students over 16), Blue Heron Opportunity School (serving grades 9-11), Highlands Academy Community Day School (serving grades 2-8) and Richard H. Lewis Independent Study School (serving grades K-12). The Alt Ed programs serve a total of approximately 240 students.
