KUSD is proud to offer an engaging summer program that balances academic enrichment with exciting recreational activities. Our program is designed to help students build relationships, develop social-emotional skills, and stay connected with their school community during the summer months. Whether your child wants to strengthen academic skills, make new friends, or simply enjoy structured summer activities, our program offers something for everyone.

Program Focus

2025 Summer Program Details

Program Locations

  • Grades TK-8: Lower Lake Elementary School (LLES)
  • Grades 9-12: Carle High School

Program Dates & Schedules

  • Program Dates: June 23 - July 22, 2025 (No school on July 4th)
  • Daily Schedule:
    • 8:00 AM: Doors open for breakfast
    • 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM:Instruction
    • 12:00 - 12:30 PM: Lunch
    • 12:30 - 5:00 PM: Aftercare Program (more information below)

Program Transportation

Transportation home available ONLY at 12:30 PM.

Transportation schedules will be available mid-May.

Program Meals

  • Free breakfast and lunch are provided daily.

Aftercare Program

Aftercare is offered from 12:30 - 5:00 PM, featuring:

  • Hands-on activities
  • Outdoor recreation
  • Community-building experiences
  • Social-emotional learning opportunities

Important Information

  • Sign-up is required for aftercare - click the registration link above.
  • Parents/guardians must arrange pickup by 5:00 PM.
