Pomo Expanded Learning & After School Program
“Expanded Learning” means before school, after school, summer, or intersession learning programs that focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of pupils through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. 

Konocti Unified strives to provide expanded learning opportunities and after school programming that is pupil-centered, results-driven, and includes community partners. We complement, but do not replicate, learning activities in the regular school day and year, by offering opportunities to engage pupils in enrichment, play, nutrition, and other developmentally appropriate activities. 

Program funds are made available by the California Department of Education, Expanded Learning division. 

Program Elements
Our after school and expanded learning program offers a daily schedule that includes, but is not limited to:

• Nutrition (Supper meal)
• Academic/Homework Support
• Recreation/physical movement
• Enrichment activities

Operating Days & Hours
Pomo offers after-school care during the 180-day regular school year:  

Regular Day: 2:05 pm - 5:00 pm
Minimum Day: 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm

If you are interested in enrolling your student, please email Megan Handy, Director of Extended Learning, at megan.handy@konoctiusd.org or call 707-994-6475 ext. 3217. Please include your student's name, grade, and enrolled elementary school site.
