Konocti Unified to Host Walking School Bus Event
Lake County, CA - In partnership with the City of Clearlake and Blue Zones Lake County, Konocti Unified School District (KUSD) invites community members to participate in their Walking School Bus event on Wednesday, May 31 starting at Austin Park at 7:30 a.m. and ending at Pomo Elementary School. The goal of the event is to highlight the need for walkable neighborhoods and encourage federal funding to support the effort.
Konocti Unified School District, located in Lake County, California, serves more than 3,600 students in grades TK-12 with ten public schools located in the cities of Clearlake, Clearlake Oaks, and Lower Lake. The KUSD mission is to provide students with an engaging curriculum, high-quality staff, and learning experiences which prepare them to succeed in a diverse and ever-changing society. We will provide an environment free of emotional and physical violence while nurturing innovation and individuality.
