Principal's Message - January 29th

PE

A Message From the Principal

Thank you to Mrs. Mayo and Mrs. Murphy for organizing our kindness week last week. Students were given the opportunity to participate in kindness activities throughout the week including making a kindness chain and a canned food drive. I challenge all the students to continue their kindness through the remainder of the school year. Kindness does not just need to occur during the kindness week, it can happen every day.

No After School Program - Monday, January 29th

There is no After School Program today, Monday, January 29th. The After school program is closed for staff professional development. The After School Program will be back open on Tuesday, January 30th.

Awards Assembly - Friday, February 2nd

Friday, February 2nd is our Awards Assembly to honor our January students. Teachers will reach out to parents if their students are receiving an award. Here are the following assembly times:

TK, K, 1st - 8:15 am

2nd & 3rd - 9:00 am

4th, 5th, & 6th - 1:00 pm

Please remember that all visitors must sign in at the office with their state-issued driver's license or identification card before the assembly. Also, we are not allowed to have any balloons in the cafeteria or on the school bus. If the balloon happens to get loose in the cafeteria it will set off the fire alarms. If you are bringing balloons for your student they can be left in the office during the assembly or tied on the fence outside the cafeteria. Thank you for understanding.

Visitors on Campus

Please remember that all visitors must check in at the front office with their state-issued identification or driver's license. For student safety, we must have all visitors check in at the office first before going to the classroom or any other place on campus.

End of the Day Pick-Up

This is just a reminder that the student’s pick-up at the end of the day is located at the field gate. Parents cannot wait in front of the student's classroom to pick them up unless they have checked into the office with their state-issued identification card or driver’s license. All people on the campus must have a visitor pass.

Intersession February 12th - 16th

The week of February 12th - 16th we will be holding intersession. This is an opportunity for students to receive a little extra support with academics. During this intersession, we will be focusing on reading. Teachers will be inviting students who are in need of a little extra support. Keep an eye out for those permission slips.
