February 5th - Principal's Message

PE

A Message From the Principal

I hope that all our students, staff, and families were able to stay dry and safe during that crazy storm. Our school site has power and is in good shape. I know there is still a lot of water and some trees down around the city. Please allow yourself extra time this week when dropping off and picking up students.

Last week we celebrated the 100th day of school with many fun activities. We also held an awards assembly and celebrated our January award winners. Hearing all the wonderful things our students at Pomo are doing was heartwarming. Thank you parents for sharing your wonderful students with us every day. We are so lucky to have these wonderful students at our school. I am also so very thankful for the partnership we are creating with our students, parents, and the school. It is because of this partnership and our ability to work together as a cohesive team that makes students so successful.

Minimum Day- Thursday, February 8th

Thursday, February 8th is a minimum day. School Is out at 12:30 pm. Please remember school is out early on this day, and buses will be dropping students off early on Thursday afternoon.

Visitors on Campus

All visitors must check in at the front office with their state-issued identification or driver's license and get a visitor’s pass in order to be on the school campus. If you are waiting for your student by their classroom door at the end of the day, you are a visitor and must bring your identification to the office to get a visitors pass. If you are attending an assembly, you are a visitor and must stop by the office and get a visitors pass. If you are stopping by your students' classroom to bring them their lunch, you too must stop by the office and get a visitor pass. Thank you for helping keep our campus safe by checking in to get your visitors pass.

End of the Day Pick-Up

This is just a reminder that the student’s pick-up at the end of the day is located at the field gate. Parents cannot wait by students classrooms unless they check in at the front office with their state issued driver’s license or identification card and pick up a visitors pass.
