A Message From the Principal
I hope that everyone had a nice relaxing week off. This week students will be taking the STAR Reading and STAR Math test in their classrooms. Over the past few months, our students have been working very hard on their academics. This is their chance to show how much they have learned. If you could take a moment to tell your student or students how proud you are of how hard they have worked, they truly deserve it. Also, remind them to take their time on the test this week. I will use these test results to write Quantile and Lexile Awards for students. I will be passing out awards in the next few weeks for students who made their 50 + growth or more. I look forward to seeing their progress and handing out awards.
Read Across America Week - March 4th - 8th
Next week March 4th through March 8th is Read Across America week. This is a week where we celebrate reading and encourage students and families to find ways to share the joy of reading. Our staff has lots of fun activities planned for students during the week. See the attached flyer for the school's spirit days.

Visitors on Campus
This is just a reminder that all visitors must sign in at the front office. Anytime you come on campus you must stop by the front office first with your state-issued driver's license or identification card to get a visitor pass. This is a requirement at all schools within the Konocti Unified School District. We appreciate everyone helping keep our campus safe.
End-of-the-Day Student Pick-Up
This is just a reminder that our student pick-up is at the field gate. Parents can meet their students at the field at 2:05 pm for pick-up.
Upcoming School Events:
-
Minimum Day - Thursday, March 7th
Thursday, March 7th is a minimum day. School is out at 12:30 pm
-
Awards Assembly- Friday, March 8th
Friday, March 8th is the Awards Assembly. If your student is receiving an award the teacher will reach out to let you know. Please remember that all visitors must sign in at the front office and pick up a visitor's pass. Also, we are not allowed to have balloons in the Multipurpose room. When the balloons get loose, which happens often, it sets off the whole school's fire alarms. You can leave the balloons in the front office until the assembly is over or tie them on the rail outside the MPR.
