Higher Education Options

Lower Lake High School encourages all students to seek further educational opportunities following the completion of high school. Whether a student elects to attend a four year college, a two year college, or vocational training program we are here to help make that transition.

California State University

The CSU system offers 23 campuses for students to choose from and a wide variety of degree programs.

Woodland Community College - Lake Campus

At the Lake County Campus, students can complete two years of pre-transfer work or satisfy their General Education requirements as well as major preparation courses for many degrees. In addition to transfer work, the Campus offers a number of career technical education programs.

​High school students in good standing are eligible to enroll in coursework at WCC. Tuition and fees are waived (books are the students' responsibility). See your counselor for enrollment information.

FAFSA

FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid ​providing more than $120 billion in federal student aid each year to help pay for college or career education.  A part of the U.S. Department of Education, it is the largest provider of student financial aid in the nation.
