Skills USA Club
Lower Lake High School's Career Technical Education Department has been involved in the national nonprofit organization, SkillsUSA for many years. SkillsUSA serves middle school, high school, and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical, and skilled service occupations. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers, and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.
Our Lower Lake High School SkillsUSA club is made up of students who are dedicated and focused gaining quality education and experiences in leadership, teamwork, citizenship, and character development. We are building and reinforcing self-confidence, work attitudes, and communications skills.
Our SkillsUSA Club members are a group of students who are interesting in refining their knowledge and skills in a specific field or industry. Students will be practicing and training for the SkillsUSA Region I competition and possibly advancing to state or even national competition. Club members are involved in fundraising events ad activities to assist with supporting the costs of competition trips.
