Enjoy the Winter Break
As the holiday season kicks into high gear, let’s all take a collective deep breath. It’s a magical time, but let’s face it, it can come with its fair share of stress, especially when kiddos have visions that might not align with reality.
Here’s the scoop:
Expectations Vs. Reality: We’ve all been there. Kids dream big and sometimes those dreams clash with what’s doable. It’s OK. Let’s keep it real and find joy in the simple, unexpected moments.
Comparison Game: The “What did you get?” or “What did you do?” chatter is bound to happen. Remind your kids that each family has its unique traditions and treasures. Our joy is in creating our own magic.
Financial Juggling Act: The holidays can strain the budget. Know that you’re not alone. Consider budget-friendly activities, homemade gifts and focusing on the moments, not the price tags.
Winter Break
There is no school December 25, through January 8. Your child’s first day back from Winter Break will be January 9, 2024.
School Site Council
Our next School Site Council meeting is Thursday, January 11, 2024 at 4:00 in the Carle’ library. We have three parents that have agreed to attend on a regular basis, but more parents are welcome to attend.
