Programs
KUSD offers a variety of specialized programs designed to support your journey toward college and career success. Each program provides unique opportunities and resources to help you develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to achieve your goals.
10,000 Degrees helps students from low-income backgrounds get to and through college. Our dedicated staff member at Lower Lake High School provides support through various activities throughout the year.

Advanced Placement courses are rigorous, college-level courses offered in high schools by the College Board, designed to challenge students and prepare them for college-level work. These courses are structured like introductory college courses and are followed by a standardized exam. Successful completion of AP courses and exams can lead to college credit or advanced placement in college.

Upward Bound is a college preparation program designed for first-generation and low-income students in grades 9-12.
Eligibility: Students in grades 9-12 who meet first-generation college student and/or low-income criteria

- Focus on 21st Century Education including:
- Social and environmental justice
