STAR Summer Program 2017 Important Dates:
Parent Orientation Day – Monday, June 12th, 2017
Summer Program Dates – Tuesday, June 13th – Friday, July 21st
For KUSD K-7th student: This summer K- 7th students are invited to participate in a 6 week summer-long program. Not only will there be academics, but also enrichment activities such as computer programming drama, wilderness skills, crafts, sports, and so much more!
The program will be hosted at Burns Valley Elementary this year. KUSD is offering every participated bus transportation as well as breakfast, lunch, and a snack (free of charge).

For KUSD High School students:
KUSD is offering high school students an employment opportunity! We are seeking motivated student to apply for the position of Program Assistant. This is open to all student that are qualified to work in the state of California. (Note: For students graduating in May 2017, if hired, you must submit a TB test and pass the Live Scan be eligible to work).
For KUSD Credentialed Teachers
Both High School and Elementary School Credentialed Teachers can share their skills this summer by teaching an enrichment class! If you have a skill, hobbies or interest that you would like share this summer please apply. (Examples of classes: ipad technology, yoga, wilderness skills, computer programming, cooking, arts and crafts, rocket building, etc.)

KUSD invites our classified KUSD Staff to be an Enrichment Provider at the STAR Summer Program. Lake County is bursting with talented people. Share that talent with the students of Konocti Unified School district.
For Community Members
This summer share your skills; be an Enrichment Provider! We are seeking dynamic members of our community who wish to share their hobbies, interest and expertise with students in offering enrichment courses. (Note: Community members must TB test and fingerprinting to be eligible to work).
