Business and Financial Services, provides accounting and financial support to school sites, departments, and programs within the Konocti Unified School District. Financial support includes, but is not limited to: budgeting, accounting, grant reporting, program compliance, development of the annual budget for all programs, revisions and required financial reports. Accounting activities include: payroll and benefits, accounts receivable and payable, invoicing, check processing, purchase requisitions, and financial statements. Business and Financial Services is responsible for ensuring that the District is in compliance with all State and Federal laws and regulations regarding financial accountability and reporting.
Annual budgets and programs are developed through the lens of “Focus on the Classroom” as the priority in order to best meet the needs of our students and their instructors.
Konocti Unified School District provides a nurturing learning environment to nearly 3,000 students each school day. Dedicated staff include 184 Certificated employees and over 1,100 hours of classified service hours per day ranging from paraprofessionals in the classrooms to bus drivers, cooks, custodians, librarians, groundskeepers and accounting staff.
