Konocti Classified Employee Recognized at Member of the Year Awards

Konocti Unified School District is proud to announce that Annette Fender was recognized by the California School Employee’s Association (CSEA) at their annual Member of the Year awards luncheon on July 31, 2018.  Over 2000 people were in attendance at the Sacramento Convention Center to recognize Annette for her outstanding contributions as a member and employee.  Annette has built many positive relationships with students over the years, offered her ideas and support to help KUSD grown and improve, and has served as the CSEA member president for several years.  She has served the Konocti Unified School District for 29 years and currently is a Cook 2 (Kitchen Manager) at Lower Lake High School.  Congratulations Annette.

Local Control Accountability Plan Update

The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is under construction and being updated for the 2018-19 school year.  KUSD is seeking Stakeholder Input to continue to support the District’s four goals:
1. Engaging Teaching and Learning
2. College and Career Ready
3. Positive Culture/Healthy Environment
4. Increased Communication
The next Parent Advisory Committee/DELAC meeting is scheduled for April 26 starting at 5:30pm at the Burns Valley Elementary Library.  We hope to see you there.  See the attached summary (English | Spanish) that highlights our current LCAP.
