Local Control Accountability Plan Update

The Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) is under construction and being updated for the 2018-19 school year.  KUSD is seeking Stakeholder Input to continue to support the District’s four goals:
1. Engaging Teaching and Learning
2. College and Career Ready
3. Positive Culture/Healthy Environment
4. Increased Communication
The next Parent Advisory Committee/DELAC meeting is scheduled for April 26 starting at 5:30pm at the Burns Valley Elementary Library.  We hope to see you there.  See the attached summary (English | Spanish) that highlights our current LCAP.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND OF PROPOSAL FOR IMPLEMENTING SCHOOL FACILITIES FEES AS AUTHORIZED BY EDUCATION CODE SECTION S 17620 AND GOVERNMENT CODES 65995

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that immediately following a public hearing on the matter, a proposed resolution(s) will be considered by the Governing Board of Konocti Unified School District at its regular meeting on January 03, 2018, at 6:15p.m., which if adopted by the Board will implement development fees established by the District against residential construction and reconstruction at $3.48 per square foot and against new commercial or industrial construction at $.56 a square foot.  The proposed fees are authorized by Education Code Section 17620 and Government Code Section 65995.  Data pertaining to the cost of school facilities is available for inspection during regular business hours at the District’s administrative offices.  The fee, if approved by the Governing Board, will become effective on January 4, 2018, which is the day following the proposed adoption of the resolution levying such fee by the Governing Board

Lake County Wine Alliance donates $6,400 to KUSD

Konocti Unified School District was presented with a donation of $6400 by the Lake County Wine Alliance. Each year the Wine Alliance holds an auction and 1/3 of all profits go to high school programs in Lake County to support the arts departments including music, band, theater and art.  Konocti Unified School District would like to thank the Lake County Wine Alliance and their sponsors for their support of students.
