PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that immediately following a public hearing on the matter, a proposed resolution(s) will be considered by the Governing Board of Konocti Unified School District at its regular meeting on January 03, 2018, at 6:15p.m., which if adopted by the Board will implement development fees established by the District against residential construction and reconstruction at $3.48 per square foot and against new commercial or industrial construction at $.56 a square foot. The proposed fees are authorized by Education Code Section 17620 and Government Code Section 65995. Data pertaining to the cost of school facilities is available for inspection during regular business hours at the District’s administrative offices. The fee, if approved by the Governing Board, will become effective on January 4, 2018, which is the day following the proposed adoption of the resolution levying such fee by the Governing Board

Konocti Unified School District was presented with a donation of $6400 by the Lake County Wine Alliance. Each year the Wine Alliance holds an auction and 1/3 of all profits go to high school programs in Lake County to support the arts departments including music, band, theater and art. Konocti Unified School District would like to thank the Lake County Wine Alliance and their sponsors for their support of students. Thank you to all the donors that provided gift cards to our families that were impacted by the Sulphur Fire.
All Konocti Unified Schools will be re-opened on Monday, Oct. 16, 2017. Schools and buses will run on their regular schedules.
Konocti Unified School District Office
Konocti Unified School District is continuing to have school closure at all school sites for Wednesday, October 11th. We plan on re-opening all schools except Pomo Elementary on Thursday, October 12th.
Pomo Elementary has been inspected, has received no damage and is in excellent condition. The school is located inside the evacuation area and is without power. Once access and power are available, we will update everyone with an expected re-opening date.
